What exactly was McCain trying to say here? I'd be happy to see it in context, I'd be happy to see if it were just a bringing up a word that was just discussed, that's fine, it can be put down to a slip of the toungue, and really, I would put this down to that, as anyone would about the 'my Muslim faith' comment... although in that case he meant it in another way, so it wasn't even a slip, just a misunderstanding.
Give up QM, you're backing a very wrong, very old, very angry horse, and it's about to be taken behind the screen. Try to look away.

QM has a point here and you're all too left wing to see it. Every time McCain or Palin botches something, you all scrutinize them under the microscope. Yet when Obama makes and error that, despite right or wrong, would make a major impact on his electability, you disregard it and sweep it under the rug.

But so what if Obama is a Muslim? Most Muslims are not terrorists.
It is only because of people who are too stupid to assume that Muslims = terrorists that Obama's slip up is such a big deal.
His policies and positions are FAR more than is needed to realize what a disaster he is... his personality and inability to speak are really pretty much just thrown in for fun...

Your validating your own prejudice. I know that not all Muslims are terrorists, in fact the Muslim religion, to me, is just as bullshit as the Christian one, so either way, that loses some points in my book. What I'm saying is that you can't just jump all over one candidate for an accidental slip up and lay into another for it. That's called bias and is the enemy of critical thinking.

What i've been saying for the past month. I'm tired of the left wing propaganda. I'd like to see montages of all of obama's screw-ups, but the people who would post them would catch shit, it would definitely never make it to the sift, and anyone who is brave (in the context of online anonymity) enough to say anything against him is downvoted for having an opinion contrary to the norm. Obama is a left-wing socialist who, given the chance, will attempt to nationalize all businesses. He's got a trillion dollars in new spending waiting in the wings along with huge tax increases; the idea that he's going to tax only "the rich" is downright foolish. Do you understand that people with more money than us employ others? What happens when the federal mafia extorts them for still more?
Change for the sake of change has another meaning: anarchy.
Most likely he is saying it in the context of when he was a POW, he didn't leave the people he was imprisoned with behind. He's stating that he won't leave us behind as a country.
