Animated version of the children's classic by Maurice Sendak. Narrated by composer Peter Schickele (I think he composed the music too).

This is a delight! Peter Schickele also has a radio show called "Schickele's Mix" that features all kinds of music...“Dedicated to the Proposition that All Musics are Created Equal” it's here - http://www.schickele.com/mix/
I love this book, and I read it to my two kids, 2 and 3 years old... but man, the way this guy reads it would scare the shit out of my kids... no vote for me.
If you love the book you might be interested in visiting www.cafgivinggarden.org - the site showcases the garden being designed by Tiggy Salt for this year's Chelsea Flower Show. Based on Maurice Sendak's 'Where the Wild Things Are', the garden will bring together the familiar and the fantastic, combining traditional cottage garden planting with exotic jungle flowers and foliage.
